The Nguyen Dynasty was the last monarchy in Vietnamese history. The Nguyen Dynasty was established after Nguyen Anh (Gia Long) ascended the throne in 1802 and ended when Bao Dai abdicated in 1945, a total of 143 years. The Nguyen Dynasty is a dynasty that marked many ups and downs in Vietnamese history, especially the invasion of the French in the mid-19th century.

Currently, in the 6 mausoleums of King Nguyen in Hue, there are still 10 beautiful stone horses in the courtyard leading to the tomb with the task of guarding the old "soul" of the king.
